NEIN!

Honestly, I can't think about just one expert I admire. So I decided to talk about a person, that despite everything he did, I admire how much he did for ecology. Believe it or not, this is the guy I admire. But wait, no for everything he did. Let me show you a little bit.
First of all, if you don't know who he is, I doubt it, but anyway.

Adolf Hitler was a German politician, military man and writer, born in 1889 in Berlin and died on April 30, 1945. He was the leader of a totalitarian regime during the WW2 known as the Third Reich or Nazi Germany. Besides of had been the responsable for many murderers and horrors, he creates the first environmental laws, and iniciate a movement called deep ecology.

«Im neuen Reich darf es keine Tierquálerei mehr geben»
«In the new Reich there should be no room for cruelty to animals»

This words are from Adolf Hitler's speech, of the law of  24th, december, 1933 about the protection of animals. In the three hundred pages there is all the legal provisions relating to the new legislation, as well as an introduction that exposes the "philosophical" and political motives of, for example, the first hunting law or that monument of modern ecology, the Law on The Protection of Nature. The first laws in the world what made an ecological proyect with the desire for a real political intervention, and there is no trace of them in the current literature on the environment! (except for some references). It is, however, a series of very elaborate, absolutely significant texts of a neoconservative interpretation of what will later be called "deep ecology". How crazy is this! Nazism it's a movement that raise from pasion, emotion, sensibility -combined with the cult of the authoritarian state and national industrial development- but still, finding in nature an escense of beauty that should be perserved.
The Nazi preoccupation with Nature arises from the right, as a defense of the immanent, pristine and traditional. The world of Marxism, on the other hand, is that of industrial progress, industrial complexes filled with smoking chimneys, the proletariat, massification, the "advance with monopolies and everything that destroys the old world" (Marx).

I learned this last year in a class called "Philosophy and environment: foundations of interdisciplinary thinking", an elective course that is dictated in this faculty.
So.. Nazis invented the ecology. They thought about landscapes like the "expression of the people's soul" Who would think that!
The high command of the Nazi German group were vegetarians, anti-Semites, environmentalists and protectors of nature (at first, to enter the highest elite of the SS - The Schutzstaffel - had to be vegetarian!), or like it was public knowledge that Hitler loved his dog Blondi
All elements of ecology were created and shaped by the Nazis according to their conception of the world and ideological features. So whenever you see today, this multitude of hippie sects; ecologists, NGOs ... was implanted years ago, in the 1930s, in Germany, by the Nazis.
