Favuorite band

I don't have really a favourite band. Maybe that happens because I listen to kind of genders of music for periods, it depends on general mood, the places I'm going, the people I'm meeting on that period, maybe what the boyfriend listen, the wheather, everithing. But if I start thinking what band I admire and I think they're the coolest, coud be Pink Floyd.

What a band. mm lets try this. Before reading any longer put play to this song while you read this, I'll do the same in this precisely moment.

 

That song is not my favourite song either, just the one according to this moment.

That song's  nice for a while, but better listen to this one

 

 I have something to say about this one. This Pink Floyd's song it calls "The great gig in the sky", the fifth track on the album The dark side of the moon, recorded on 1973. In this particular song, the group have a main vocal Clare Torry, a 25-year-old girl. The interesting thing about this song, is that thas girl was invited to improvise non-lexical vocables (definition of that: which are a form of nonsense syllable used in a wide variety of music, a common example would be "la la la". (Wikisorry, copy-paste)). So, at first the didn't wanted to go, cause tickets to see Chuck Berry that evening (great time those, with that variety of good rock), but she go anyway. She performed two takes and a half, cause in the middle of last one Torry stopped and said she already had done the best she could (and left to the concert, obviously). So thats what you listen to. They met once, she start improvising out of nothing,  and get into that, IN 3 TAKES! Genious, right? she evocates a deep feeling so good.

What I love about Pink Floyd is that they change the limits of music about that moment. The sonic experimentation and crazy shits like using quadraphonic devices (definition of that: look for it yourself, but at the end of the video is the where they use that) and created pieces of art, progressive and psychedelic music that never will be out fashion.
